Wall Hanging by Rebecca Janousek

Hey there folks. It’s Rebecca here today with a fun little walk-through. I have a project I made using the amazing ArtStacks’ Limited Edition stacks! I love this vintage music note paper with the fun canvas border from The Homemaker stack and decided to use it for a wall hanging. Check out the cute stitching the page came with! Every one of these pages comes individually stitched in different styles. How cool is that?

The first thing I did was add gesso with a palette knife and then used gel medium to glue down some dressmaking pattern paper from the same stack.

After that I added some neon paint in my favorite colors with just a palette knife.

I went through some stencils and did a little spray painting to add to the background. I used a flower stencil and some texture paste to add some dimension to the page.

I cut out various shapes and flowers from different papers from both The Homemaker and The Dressmaker stacks and then added extra paint and doodles to them.

Once I glued them all down it kind of felt like something was missing so I added a picture and a quote from another ArtStacks pack and finally added a way to hang it with some ribbon.

Here’s the finished result!

All the papers on my project were from The Homemaker stack……

…. and The Dressmaker stack.

I hope you’re inspired to create something amazing with these stacks!
