Love Lives Here by Claire Stead
Hello, its Claire Stead here! I have a bit of a love affair with the Tracy Verdugo Love Lives Here pack. I love the gorgeous ladies in it so I decided to use one of them to create an art journal page. I also used some hearts and a quote from the same pack.
I started by adding some tissue paper to the page from Lisa Oxley’s Floral Fetish pack as my first layer. Once it was dry I went with some pink, blue, yellow and orange colours (the inspiration for the colours came from one of the hearts), overlapping the colours and adding some stencilling. I also added some text stamping using black ink and added some white dots as well. I popped the figure onto the page and added the hearts around the top of the figure. The words fitted perfectly on the right hand side of the page. I outlined the words and hearts with a black pen and added a few more white dots using a fine white gel pen. Ta dah it was done!
