Artist Series, Deb Weiers, Wonky Bits, Wonky Critters
In Joy and Sadness . . . by Sharon Fritchman
Hi everyone . . . it’s Sharon here today. I’ve been enjoying designing projects with Deb Weiers’ new releases and couldn’t wait to share another mixed media art journal page that I made featuring her Wonky Critters and Wonky Bits packs!
I love making simple and easy pages, and this one was no exception! I’ll tell you how I made it:
I started by creating my background with paper that I had my stash. Next, I ripped some black and white striped pieces of paper from Deb Weiers’ Wonky Backgrounds pack and stitched them into place. I adhered the adorable wonky bird along with her baby (from the Wonky Critters pack) as my focal point. Then I added some wonky circles (printed on self-adhesive paper!) and flowers, from the Wonky Bits pack! Don’t you just love Deb’s wonky flowers? I think they really added a special touch to my page. And finally, I adhered my sentiment, which is from the Anemones and Friends pack. I know I have said this before, but I especially like mixing and matching papers from all of the ArtStacks packs!!
