I Love Stripes by Sharon Fritchman

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!  It’s Sharon here today sharing a mixed media art journal page that I made using one Deb Weiers’ new releases:  her Wonky Critters pack!

I absolutely love all of the critters in this pack, but was especially drawn to the zebra with the bright pink background that is printed on cardstock paper in this pack:

So I started by picking bright pink paper with orange hearts (that I had in my stash) as my background! I fussy cut the zebra and stitched it onto a scrap of black and white striped paper that I also had in my stash.  Next, I used some “easy-tear” black and white paper from Deb Weiers’ Wonky Backgrounds pack.  I added some more machine stitching and stamping, then adhered my title “I Love Stripes” to my page. It was that simple and easy to make!
