Deep Inside You There is Magic by Paula Perry

Hi everyone!  It’s Paula here today sharing a new art journal page that I made using both of the new releases:  the Wings and Things Corestack and the All Dressed Up Corestack.  I loved working with them and especially like the way these stacks work so well together!

I started by creating my background with paint and stencils.  Next, I layered a tag over the background.  I did this so that the winged boy (the wings are from the Wings and Things Corestack and the boy figure is from the All Dressed Up Corestack) didn’t get completely lost in the background. In addition, I layered a leftover paint swatch stripe from the Lisa Oxley Floral Fetish Artist Series stack, as well as a piece of rippable paper from the same stack, over the tag.

Did I mention how much I love this boy figure?  I especially like the look of sheer happiness that radiates from his face!!  And I just had to add these gorgeous wings (from the Wings and Things stack) to the boy because they add that special, magical touch!

Next, to add a bit of fun and quirkiness to my page, I applied the red toadstool mushroom, from the All Dressed Up Corestack. Finally, I attached the fun quote, which is from the Wings and Things Corestack.  I knew it was the right quote for this page because children are always full of magic!

I used the following stacks to make my page:

All Dressed Up

Wings & Things

Lisa Oxley Floral Fetish

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Your visits are always appreciated!

Thank you Paula!  Your page is beautiful and definitely full of magic, just like the child pictured here!
