Hello, it’s Paula here today! I am sharing an art journal page that I made using the gorgeous and totally inspirational Deb Weiers’ Wonky Faces and Wonky Backgrounds Artist Series packs.
I discovered that when I use Deb Weiers’ packs, all the hard work is already done for me. Sometimes I feel like I’m cheating when I work with Deb’s beautiful pieces. I find that I can put together a fabulous page in such a short period of time!
I’ve created this page in my 6×6 Kraft journal. I began by stamping the top of my page with blue ink, then stamped over those images with blue paint to achieve the look I wanted. Then I stenciled in some red shapes, and added a Wonky Background on top. I cut a small circle out of the translucent paper from the Wonky Backgrounds pack and added it to my page. Next, I attached one of the fabulous figures from the Wonky Faces pack. Isn’t she brilliant? Finally, I painted blue circles using an old toilet paper insert. (I‘m sure I could have found my coffee stain stamp, but we are talking about speed-art, right?) I found that I really enjoyed making this quick, fun page!
I used the following packs:
Thank you, Paula for creating this stunning art journal page, and showing us how quick and easy it was to make!
