‘One Project, Two Ways’ by Nadine Aster

Gosh, design team member Nadine Aster shows us how easy it is to create two very different pages using the same design and similar techniques! Nadine used the digital version of our new-release The Architect pack to make this, however her technique works just as well with the printed pack.

First up, we have a gorgeous page with a vintage feel.

To create this, Nadine first made a soft-coloured background with watercolours and dimensional stencilling. She layered on some strips from a few of the pages then added some of the arches. In the printed pack, the arches are printed on transparency, which would work every bit as well. Nadine chose to print hers on cardstock and it looks amazing! Three of the statues from the pack complete the page.

Next, Nadine created a very similar page but with a totally different background to create a very different feel. She made a bright and colourful background, layered on some different paper strips from the pack then added different sized arches, the statues and a quote.

Nadine used only The Architect papers to make this (as well as her art journal). Click on the image below to see what else is in this stunning pack!

The Architect

It’s an eye-opener how different a page can look by just changing the background! Thanks Nadine!
