Magic by Claire Stead

Claire Stead was one of the first of our Design Team members to play with our new Trick or Treat pack by Tamara Laporte (#willowing). She shows how it’s easy to create a non Halloween-themed project using this Halloween pack!

Claire said, “I used one of the images from the Witches and Goddesses page from the gorgeous ‘Trick or Treat’ Halloween pack. I added the image to a tag and then, using the colours from the image, I used watercolour paints to extend the colours out onto the tag. I added some mark making using black archival ink and then stitched around the tag using my sewing machine. I created a pocket in my watercolour journal and added similar colours onto the front of the pocket, again using watercolour paints. I painted leaf shapes and outlined them using a gel pen. I added quotes to the tag and pocket.”
