Hi everyone! It’s Sharon here today sharing a mixed media art journal page that I made using Lisa Oxley’s Bright and Bold and Floral Fetish Artist Series stacks! I don’t know about you, but I cannot get enough of these papers. I always enjoy working Lisa’s collections of hand-painted and hand-drawn images!!

This was so simple to make! I started by tearing and adhering some of Lisa’s signature leaves printed on tissue paper in her Floral Fetish stack to my white background paper. Then, I added a strip of her black and white dots printed on “rippable paper” from the same stack, and placed a strip of her paint swatch paper (from the Bright and Bold stack) on top, near the bottom of my page. Next, I machine stitched a piece of “see through” watercolored acetate paper that I had in my stash onto the background paper. I adhered Lisa’s heart and the body images (from her Bright and Bold stack) to the acetate, and finally added my title using some of Lisa’s words printed on tissue (also from her Bright and Bold stack) and letters from my stash. It was that easy!
