Earth Without Art by Tina Hois

Tina Hois shares this simple, yet effective, art journal spread that she made using elements from our new release with Birgit Koopsen, the Forest Walk pack.

Tina began by creating the background, using old book pages that she distressed with white acrylic paint. She gently rubbed distress ink along the edges to create a vintage look.

For the focal point, Tina used Mod Podge to glue down the issue paper branch. She then cut a circle out of the printed green card stock in Birgit’s Forest Walk pack. To add depth, she distressed the perimeter with ink.

Fussy cut leaves from Birgit’s pack are scattered among the branches and the circle, accompanied by a beautiful songbird that has been stitched and sits upon a nest of thread. The quote is also from the Forest Walk pack.
