Don’t Fight the Doors You are Led To by Tracy Fear
Tracy Fear is here today sharing an amazingly gorgeous 5 x 7 card that she created using our new releases, the Doors & Windows 2 and Weathered Walls packs:
Here’s how Tracy made her card:
- I started with one of the Weathered Walls papers, mixed some distress paint (light green) with crackle paint together and ran it through a stencil onto half of the background paper.
- After I allowed it to dry, I used some vintage photo ink around the edges and layered it over a torn dictionary page.
- I fussy cut one of the doors from the Weathered Walls pack and used it as the foundation for more collage paper, including the door number (from the same Weathered Walls pack) and the sentiment (from the Doors & Windows 2 pack.)
- Finally, I added the rusty, corrugated paper (from the Weathered Walls pack) along the bottom to ensure an even fit with the 5 x 7 Kraft card base.
