‘Deep Breath’ by Claire Stead
Hello, it’s Claire Stead here today. I made a double-page art journal spread using the stunning new-release Doors & Windows 2 pack.
I added some heat embossed marks to the page first then added some stone coloured acrylic paint in colours that toned well with the doorway I had chosen. I also added a little stencilling using a stencil with square shapes on it, like bricks.
I cut open the doorway and adhered it to my page, then I added some dots of bright colours using my finger to create a floral frame for the doorway. I added a couple of the bushes in pots either side of the doorway, I cut off the bottom part of the boxes from the flower boxes so they looked like flower pots instead and placed them beside the shrubs. I added a quote from the same pack and finished with some stamping and splatters.
