Waterfall Journal by Nadine Aster
Wow! Nadine Aster has created a stunning waterfall journal using our re-released The Dressmaker and The Homemaker packs!
Here’s what Nadine said about her stunning journal:
“One of the ladies in The Dressmaker stack looked so sassy, I thought I’d use her for a little story telling.
I printed some of The Homemaker papers on cardstock and covered them with clear gesso, so I could move some ink sprays around on the page with water. I chose bright colors to go with the bright colored dresses.
Once everything was dry, I cut the pages to size and glued them to my waterfall mechanism binding (a strip of scored paper).
Then I added the girls and the speech bubbles, that were cut from one of the papers in the Homemaker pack.
This project is very different from what I usually create. I don’t often use that many bright colors, but the vintage Homemaker papers pair perfectly with the ladies from The Dressmaker pack, and I absolutely love that the packs inspired me to do something different!”
