The Doors by Lisa Oxley

Howdy folks. It’s Lisa Oxley here and I’m excited to have a new blog to hang out in and share inspired work with you.

Firstly, thanks a bunch for dropping in to the ArtStacks blog page.

How exciting for us Aussies to welcome a new homegrown company with one incredible mother and daughter team!

I’ll tell you why I’m crushing hard on ArtStacks products:

Options, I love options, and ArtStacks gives me options.

Option 1. When I decide to purchase a product from ArtStacks I can either download and print myself or buy a hardcopy and have it delivered.

Option 2. If I choose to purchase and have my pack delivered, I will receive an incredible mixed pack of printed pages that include coloured papers, matt card, tissue paper, transparency and more. So many options for creating!

Today I have created a piece using a combo of two ArtStacks packs – Doors & Windows and Anemones & Friends.

For this simple double page spread I have used the doorway image from the Doors & Windows stack and added simple complementary colours in acrylic paint to support the image and create the overall look.

By adding the floral paper from the Anemones & Friends stack into the background, I have tied the elements together and created flow across the page.
