Hello all! It’s Paula and I’m sharing another art journal page that I made using the gorgeous designs from ArtStacks!
I used one of my favorite journals, my 6×6 Kraft journal to make my page. I find that it’s such a brilliant size to create quick pages on, and Deb Weiers’ Wonky Faces & Wonky Backgrounds Artist Series packs make it super easy to put a page together. I always have so much fun creating with her designs!
Here’s how I made my page:
First, I created the background with various paints and stencils that I have in my stash. I also journaled into the wet paint creating a cool texture to the page. (It doesn’t really show up in well in photographs, but the texture is awesome!) Next, I added the tissue paper vines from Lisa Oxley’s Floral Fetish Artist Series stack. After that, I added the striped (easy tear) paper from Deb Weiers’ Wonky Backgrounds pack. And finally, I cut out the fabulous girl from Deb Weiers Wonky Faces stack. I love this image because it serves as the focal point and the title of my page . . . all in one! Afterwards, I added a few paint splatters and I was done.
