‘Be Here Now’ by Claire Stead
Wow – Claire Stead has been using her colourful, arty style to create this stunning art journal page! Claire’s focal image and quirky flowers are both taken from Tamara Laporte’s Fabulous Faces pack. Her quote is from another of Tam’s packs, Mystical Universe.
Here’s what Claire said about her project:.
“I used one of the tissue paper faces from the Fabulous Faces pack and adhered it using gel medium. Next I added some rainbow colours horizontally across the page and when they were dry I popped some white circle stencilling over the top. I extended the hair and made it flow out further, using a thin brush and acrylic paint. I adhered another piece of tissue with Tam’s flowers on it along the bottom the page from the same pack and added some white doodled flowers to the page too. I finished with some text and dot stamping and a quote from the Mystical Universe pack.”
