One Door Closes by Tina Hois
We’re thrilled to have Tina Hois with us as a Guest Designer! Tina will be bringing you inspirational pieces every Wednesday over the southern summer break. We can’t wait to see what she creates!
Tina said, “I’m super excited to be a Guest Designer for ArtStacks. A few days ago I revealed the wonderful stacks I received, on my YouTube channel. I couldn’t wait to start playing with them.
I started with the Doors & Windows CardStack. The images are fabulous and so versatile.”
Tina’s first page is a stunner! Her focal point is one of the beautiful doors from our Doors & Windows stack. This page of doors is in both the CoreStack and the CardStack.
Tina used her cool packing tape transfer technique to transfer the title from the quotes page included in the Doors & Windows CardStack, to her page, giving the title a transparent background. You can check out how Tina did this on another project in the video below:
Tina created the background using bits of paper collage, paint, gesso, stencils and stamps, incorporating the door into the piece then adding the tape transfer title on top.
