Live Life in Colour by Claire Stead
Claire Stead has created another colorful journal spread for us to enjoy!
To create this colorful art journal spread, Claire used the Colourful World pack, selecting some collage tissue paper for the background. She used matte medium to stick it down.
Once this was dry, she used a round brush and a medium that is a cross between watercolor and gouache to add bold stripes of color to the page. Claire varied the thickness of the lines to add plenty of interest. She used a silhouette figure from the same pack (Colourful World) and with black acrylic paint, extended the figure down the page.
Claire used some transparencies from the Colourful Zine pack to add some decorative pieces around the edges. She used one of the quotes from the Colourful World pack and stamped some dots around the edge of the page using black archive ink and the page was finished!
